This compact, hands-on workshop gives you the tools to build design systems that scale efficiently while enabling consistent, accessible, and brand-compliant interfaces – even when AI is involved. You’ll learn how to design semantic structures that allow components to be reused across multiple brands and products without additional development effort.

Design systems often fail not because of poor design, but because of poor architecture. Without a clear structure, teams face duplicated work, inconsistent user experiences, and high maintenance costs. At the same time, demands are rising: more brands, more products, more teams – but less time. To scale successfully, you need a system that works for design, code, and AI. The key is a scalable semantic architecture.

Using a fictional brand with three products, you’ll build a structural foundation that allows components to be created once and adapted across all brands and product variations. The workshop focuses on fast prototyping, practical architecture models, and seamless integration between code and design. Theory is limited to what’s actually helpful – the focus is on doing.
